Why not go on a short walk?
Only fifteen minutes or so.
It could take you anywhere, through a green space, or down city streets.
Go on a walk and listen to recordings of poetry melded with sound.
These natural sounds were recorded on site at the Ring of Brodgar, Orkney, Scotland. They comprise wind, water, bird song and some song and percussion.
Through this recording, we lament and celebrate the endangered birds and other creatures of that precise location.
Poet Stephanie Green and Sound Artist Sonja Heyer were supported in the development of this work by Creative Scotland, the RSPB, HES and Orkney Rangers. It was part of the Orkney Nature Festival 12-21st May, 2023.
